Thanks for an incredible 2018!
VIP Journeys wants to Thank You for an Extraordinary 2018! We can’t get over how fast 2018 has flown by and we imagine that all of you feel the same. As the year quickly comes to an end, we are all left to reflect on the growth, the changes, the challenges, the trips we’ve planned or taken, the new people that have appeared in our lives and the overall feeling of the year gone by. When reflecting on everything, the only word that comes to mind to describe it all is: gratitude.
LATAM Growth: We have seen similar growth this year aligned with the recent WTO study whereas South America grew faster then the rest of Central America, with Ecuador at 57% growth and Colombia at 47% leading the list of regional tourism. Galapagos was Ecuador’s huge driver with 7 new luxury Yachts launching in 2018 and 5 more super Yachts scheduled for 2019.
VIP Growth: VIP Journeys added 3 new members to our team this year. Natalia, Cecilia and Lauren. We are so happy to have them working with us, each one adds their knowledge of Latin America and their personality to the mix. Shortly after everyone was added to the team, Caroline made her way down to work for a week in our Buenos Aires office, where most of us live. We weren’t able to get Mike, Jody or Adriana to come this trip, but we were able to spend a week together, eating in closed door restaurants, working all in the same place and getting to know each other’s families and friends. The week was truly inspirational we are so grateful for the team that this year has brought us.
